Jameson Goes To School

Jameson started Pre-K this morning at Albertville Primary School! He was so excited, but a little nervous. I hope after today he will be good though. He went right to his cubbie and put his things up and hung his backpack on his hook. Thank goodness he has the OCD clean and organizing gene from his Momma! :) So I'm sitting here praying and crossing my fingers that he will make it through the day and will be happy to go back tomorrow!

My Little Pre-K'er

Wanting me to leave so he could talk to the girl named Olivia... I think he wanted to ask her why she wasn't a pig! :) Thank you Nick Jr.!

Too busy looking at the other kids to take a picture

Baby You're A Firework

The Boys Before Church on the 4th of July
Happy late 4th of July to everyone!!! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday! I ended up having a 5 day weekend. Unfortunately, the family I work for had a horrible tragedy and ended up closing the office for the rest of the week. It was a whirlwind of things to do, but I did get to spend some great time with the boys. On the Fourth, Jed and Becca had us over and they grilled out and made some homemade ice cream. It was delic! Baby Taylor mainly slept, but the boys were entertained by Elmo and the 10,000 toys that Joey brought over! :) Jed and James went fishing and I got some cleaning done and some projects accomplished I've been wanting to do. We had church that night, and then after went to Mom's and Dar Dar's to shoot some fireworks. Nothing big, but it was a lot of fun. The boys had a ton of fun throwing those things that make the noise??? have no idea what their called, but they were entertained anyways!

Baby Taylor at Dar Dar's
Sideways Becca and the Boys!

The only pic I have of the actual fireworks.

Jed on Fire! :)

Sideways Becca and Joey
Thursday me and the boys hung out and went to Target where of course the boys got a toy and I got a Starbucks, I mean, that's why you go to Target, right? But it was fun to get out for a bit and that Joey slept the whole way home.. thank you Lord! :) That night we went to Mark and Trish's for a FIESTA! :) They fixed all kinds of yummy mexican food and it was so much fun. The boys played outside and fished and us girl raided Mary's house for all her fabulous craft stuff! Then it started storming and we stayed way too late because we were too scared to get out in it!
Baby Taylor at Mark and Trish's! Look at them fat little cheeks! :)

Okay.. sideways storm damage.. that was a massive tree that had fell over.
Friday me and the boys chilled at the house and played then when James got off he wanted to go to Huntsville, so we loaded up and went back to Jones Valley, ate some yummy Five Guys Grill and hit up Dick's sporting goods, Hobby Lobby and Target.. again! :) It was a nice night out. The weather had cooled down a bit so we weren't having a heat stroke!

Sweet Jameson

Crazy Jameson and his "Popeye Face"

Jameson at Five Guys Grill.. trying to be good so he can get a prize at Target! :)

Another crazy Joey picture... i have a lot of these!
Saturday James went fishing with Michael and Chase so the boys and me had another day at home chillaxing. I got some sewing done, which was a lot of fun and Joey was so excited about his Mickey shirt and Elmo shirt. I made Jameson a Mickey shirt too, and he informed me that it was "lame, and for babies"! I thought I could cry!!! I mean.. he's 4!!! He's not suppose to be over Mickey Mouse!!! I'm 26 and I'm still not over Mickey Mouse!!!! So, after I got over my little breakdown, he decided he needed a Ben 10 shirt... sounds much easier than it is since their all complicated looking aliens. I finally decided to do him a plumber badge shirt.. if your kids watch it, you'll understand what I'm talking about.. The rest of the weekend was church and a crazy spur of the moment 3rd trip to Huntsville in 4 days just so Jed, James and Michael could eat Wings!!! :( Gag! But at least it was good company! So here are a few more pictures, because I'm picture crazy!!! .....

Before Church in their new outfits I made.

Joey my lame baby who loves his Mickey shirt!

And the best picture of all..even sideways.... Dad and Joey who stripped down and put on my old baby doll's clothes! :)

Just Keep Swimming, Swimming, Swimming!

What do we do? We swim swim swim...

Yes, now that Dorie is in your head for the rest of the day (You are welcome)....

Getting Ready to Go To Swimming Lessons
Jameson and Bailey started swimming lessons this week and that is all we have done is swim swim swim it feels like. My days have been marathons between working, rushing home, getting J-man, taking him to swim, and then taking him home and going to bed! But he had his first week show last night and he did great. Jumping off the diving board and doing the backstroke. Of course the backstroke is his favorite so he doesn't have to get his face wet... only my child! :) We have one more week and then he should be an official swimmer! He has been having a blast, but I am very ready for this to be over! :)
Jameson very anxious

Bailey.. a little nervous at that point
After one day in obviously, the hair was an issue.. in the eyes.. everywhere.. and I have been contemplating buzzing it for the summer and letting it grow back out before revival..
Well.. I took the plunge and finally did it.. It's took some getting used to,
but I definitely prefer the long hair! :) Thank goodness it will grow back!

Right After We Cut It

Getting Ready for His "Show Night"

My view from the pool house.. holding my breath the whole time. I really shouldn't stay and watch!

Although Jameson loves it because he feels like a peach!
Before leaving for "Show Night"

And what is a post lately without a sideways pic? Jameson is the one in the neon short by the diving board waiting to get started!

Showing off his backstroke!

Since we have spent all our time and energy on this, nothing else has been happening.. however I will leave you with this picture of my little cross dresser son..... Isn't he cute???

I love it! The boy loves shoes, mine, James, Jameson's, his! He even wants to sleep in them!
So, that's all I got. Just remember...... ha ha ha ha ha ha i love to swim when,
when you come just swim swim swim. ;)

Six Years

Yes, it has been six years ago today that the Lord gave me the Holy Ghost! It's hard to believe that it has been that long, but I am so thankful that the Lord was so mindful to give me the Holy Ghost.

I had this picture of my baptizing on my computer. It's kind of blurry, but I love it because the look on my face reflects completely how I felt. Happy, content and peaceful. So Happy Birthday to me, and here's to many many more!

Avengers Assemble!

Warning, I am beyond exhausted and anything typed in this post should not be held against me! Rambling, saying the same thing ten times, and just complete craziness is very likely to occur!

But we have had a fun few days. Friday was crazy and getting ready for Jameson's birthday party, but thankfully Mom and Dad took Jameson out to eat and shopping to pick out his present so it was much easier weeding out my flower beds and trying to get our house and yard acceptable for company with just one child, and Saturday was the actual party. The kids had so much fun playing outside and getting people with the water balloons and of course eating Avengers Birthday Cake!!! I was already tired before the party started, so then I was really tired when it was over. We got it cleaned up and got ready for church and then went to Michael and "That Girl's... a.k.a. Andrea's" house. We were there until like 11, so again.. exhaustion!!!

The B-Day Cake
Jameson in his Captain America undies! He had to match his party down to his underwear! :)

On Sunday after church we picked up Susan in Grant and headed to Huntsville to take Jameson to Toys R Us to pick out his bday present! He had a blast... of course! He ended up getting 4 Ultimate Ben 10 Aliens because the 12 that Mom and Dad had gotten him on Friday night obviously were not enough! He wanted Olive Garden for his birthday dinner out, and we weren't upset with that at all.. yum! My child has such good taste! ;) We then went to CVS trying to get wisp toothbrushes, mouthwash, gum, and Listerine strips to get the Olive Garden stank off of us.. I'm sure none of it worked, and then headed to Plevna for Church. Matt was starting revival out there. It was the first time I had ever been, but I really enjoyed it. Turns out I'm related to the entire church.. no surprise there.. hello.. Holman's!, but  church was good and one received the Holy Ghost. It is a long way out there though! Goodness! Josh and Natalie hitched a ride on the way home and we had a lot of fun. Being deliriously tired makes for fun times!
Jameson has so much fun with Susan!

Of course.. sideways.. stupid blogger!!! - Jameson at Olive Garden chomping on some breadsticks!

Thankfully I was off yesterday for Jameson's actual birthday (and yes.. I am aware that we celebrated all weekend!!! he is ridiculously spoiled.. I'm working on this! ;) )Of course, Jameson's birthday is also Mom's birthday, so we took her out to eat for lunch and spent some time with her then went home and got ready and went to Huntsville to church last night. Jameson was a little upset that he had to go to Church on his birthday, but I told him he would get to see Heidi and that perked him up! :) Church was good again, and another got the Holy Ghost while we were there, so it's been nice seeing two the last two nights! I was a little disappointed because i really thought there were going to be more last night, but I'm hoping for really good news this week! I hope we can make it back out there sometime this week. Yesterday was the opportune time though, not having to work made it easy to get out there in time, but this morning I was really regretting the trip!

So I think if I can stay awake until 12, I'm going to take a little snooze on my lunch.

Our Visit With The Arnolds

Us and The Arnold's
So our dear friends and neighbors from Atlanta come to see us last weekend and spent the day with us. It was so much fun and so good to see them. Of course we are all grown up now and have kids of our own and it was really surreal to realize it, but again just so good! We had the best time, ate some bbq, played outside, had a lot of laughs and made more great memories. It's wonderful getting to reconnect with people you grew up with.

Amanda and Alyssa have two boys each also. Their are 7 and 2, and my boys had a blast playing with them!

Joey and Brayden (Amanda's little one)

Koltin (Alyssa's little one)

Sean and Trenton riding Bullseye

Joey, Dad and Amanda on the swing... before they broke it! :) ... No seriously.. they did!

All of us with our youngins

And again.. notice Alyssa's husband Richard is in this one and Amanda's Husband is missing! :)

Is It Revival Season Already?

When did this happen?? Wasn't it just January and I was still unpacking boxes in the new house?? Now it's almost June and my little man is going to be 4!!! This is insane. I agree with that Kenny Chesney song more everyday with the "Don't Blink"... cause literally, you blink and you miss a month!

This month, like every other month in our lives has been chaotic, but fun. I actually did get not only a card for mother's day this year but also a present! I got a new book in my series that I read that come out the week before mother's day. That's right.. after three mother's days getting nada... and finally getting James nada last year for Father's day to prove a point, to be mean, for payback, when I had went yet another year with no recognition of any kind whatsoever that for 19 months of my life (YES... nineteen!!! Cause Jameson was late... very very late!!!) I made those little human beings running around and keeping me up every night... James finally got the picture and got me something. That or either he really has his heart set on some new fishing gear for father's day, so he realized he better do something this year to not have a repeat of last year. Yeah, I know.. it's the latter.. but whatever I got a card and a book!!
Jameson Reeling Something In

He also managed to get me a birthday card the next weekend, granted it was on my birthday and he come home from work and got the boys to sign it in front of me, he still remembered.. so that's what counts! I also got some beautiful ferns (that I went and bought and told him he got me for my birthday to ensure that I got something .... hehehehe) to adorn my country front porch and I love them!We also went fishing down by the lake as a family and had so much fun. Joey actually caught something called an Alligator Ghard (?? or something like that ??? - I'm obviously not the fisherman of the family)on his first cast. It was massive, broke his line, and looked like a snake coming up it was so long and had some massive teeth, but thankfully it got away on its own, before it got too close (and I had a heart attack). James of course pouted the rest of the trip because his one year old son caught a fish that he has never been able to!!!! :) Me and Jameson caught some little lake fish, and it was a lot of fun. James caught nothing... that's what happens to sore losers! ;) Karma!
Sorry for the sideways pictures - blogger is driving me insane!!!

James baiting Joey's hook

Jameson.... being Jameson!

We made it through all this May chaos and even through the outdoor singing in which I thought I was going to die of the heat in that tiny tiny kitchen area, but Thank the Lord (and Bro. Hugh) we had a fan this year and my clothes were only halfway sticking to me by the time the singing started! It of course did nothing to help get the smell of the peppers, onions and jalapenos i managed to spill on me, but what can I say.. they decorated my outfit quite nice, and c'mon.. I've got a 3 year old and a 1 year old.. does anyone expect me to be anywhere without stains and crazy messy hair?? No, I didn't think so either!
Jameson "Walking on Water" - or so he said, since he can reach the bottom! :)

Eli and Jojo hanging out in the pirate pool

The birthday girl

I barely made it to Carleigh's b-day party the next day, and then barely made it through it.. oh goodness it was hot, and all those kids swimming in the pool and me with all my clothes on and sweating.. it was not fun!!! Of course.. leave it to Carleigh who instead of traditional birthday cake had a two tiered lemon bundt cake from that place in Jones Valley. One word... HEAVEN!!!! Seriously! So delicious!!!! I despise lemon.. or lemon tasting stuff except for Mountain Dew, and this case was fabulous!!! I even liked the icing some, and I don't do icing at all. I ate some of it though before passing it to Kay was there to finish off my icing.
Another sideways pic - Joey disguised as Optimus Prime ;)

Now that we finished off the May birthdays, it's time to start on the June ones! We're getting ready for Jameson's Avengers Birthday party next weekend! He's so excited and I'm so thankful he's into something that is popular and easy to find stuff!

On top of everything else in June (10,000 birthdays, decoration, father's day, ect.) I realized all the revivals are starting up too, and I'm so not prepared for that. I haven't heard all the ones Bro. James/Bro. Matt are running this year, but I hope since the kids are getting a bit older we can visit more than we have been. You know, like make it 2 places this year instead of one! :) No, literally.. that wasn't a joke! Feel special Big Cove, you were the only revival we made it to last year besides the Branch! But I'm feeling the pressure to get everything done in the house before revival, thankfully ours is one of the last, so I've still got about 8 weeks to finish it all up, but I know they'll go by in a flash too! Better get to making that list! Hope James is ready to do some painting!!!
