Tricks and Treats

Of course it's the day after Halloween, and we're exhausted and sharing all the costume pics. My kids were too excited about trick or treating to get good pics of them in their costumes, but I got a couple try's.....
Trying to get a pic....

Ben 10 Jameson

Spiderman Joey (who didn't want to take a picture, just wanted to rock!)

Of course we've had a ton of festivities leading up to the big trick or treating night, here's some pics from different things this month!

One night before church I attempted getting some pictures of the boys after I had decorated with my mums and pumpkins... this was the best I could get! :)

Then carving pumpkins with Daddy:

Jameson's happy face Jack-o-lantern

Joey's Mickey Mouse Pumpkin! ;)
And Jameson had fall festival at school! It was a lot of fun. He had a blast!
Vampire Jameson

Jameson and his friend Jakari
So now all the festivals of fright are over and its time for Turkey and Christmas trees! I'm not in the Christmas spirit at all, but I'm hoping after a little Christmas Village time this weekend I'll be ready to switch the decor to the red and greens! Hope you all had a great, safe and fun Halloween too!!!!

Tricks & Treats

"UNLEASH THE POWER OF THOR... a.k.a. Jameson"
"The Great Pumpkin Joey"

Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!!! Jameson really got into it this year and it was much easier with Joey being able to walk and not carrying him around this time. Our Halloweening started on Friday at the big Bonfire Party and Shannon and LeAnne's this year. It was really cold and rainy and Jameson was terrified of some of the costumes (... thanks Andrew and Jacob for being really huge gorillas.... LOL!) so we didn't end up staying that long, but it was still fun! Thankfully Travis dressed up as Green Lantern and became Jameson's hero! Although he was Thor and I'm told the Marvel and DC comic heroes clash.. you wouldn't have known it with those two! :)"More Thor..."
"James and Joey the Pumpkin"

Saturday morning I fixed Halloween cinnamon rolls.. real hard you know, pop the can and put them on the sheet, but the boys loved the rolls with the orange icing. We watched kid friendly Halloween movies. It was a fun day. I got started on some Christmas presents, so that was a lot of fun and progress all at the same time!(Joey and the cinnamon rolls.. he ate 3!)(Pumpkin Balloon Playing)

Last night of course was Trick or Treating time! The boys had a blast and racked up on some candy and all kinds of other stuff. We come home with glowing balloons, coloring books, stickers, and juice boxes! It was a lot of fun. I'm attaching some pictures from my phone, but when I ever download my camera I'll have a lot more and a ton from the pumpkin patch last weekend. So now that Halloween is over I guess its time to put up a Christmas Tree!!! :)

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Halloween!

So I've really got my husband all into all my different traditions through the years and things that I wanted to do with our kids to have traditions with them. I'm really excited that he cares about these things because I love doing things and projects with the kids or taking them to special places that mean something to us. He decided to come up with a really cool tradition that I am really excited about!
His birthday of course is always two weeks before Halloween, so he thought it would be cool if every year on his birthday we would decorate and/or carve our pumpkins and make it a tradition. I want to give him kudos on this one because I thought it was really sweet he wanted to spend his birthday this way every year. So, last night we had our first pumpkin decorating James birthday night.
The boys had picked out pumpkin decorating kits at Target at the beach so we used them this year. They were very fitting to their personalities right now. Joey had a cookie monster pumpkin, but he didn't understand that the cookies were not real and got mad when he couldn't eat them, and Jameson got iron man... need I say more! :) Of course I attached pictures!!
On a totally different note it looks like it is our last day of warm weather today. I am excited about the cooler weather and the onset of boots, turtlenecks, sweaters and corduroy! Yes.. of course my excitement revolves around fashion.... Duh!
And now to get to work! That is if I can stop pintresting long enough to do it!
Its just so addictive!!!!!
